Front End Developer/Designer Opportunity

About the Role

The Front End Developer is specifically responsible for a variety of design projects, including website homepage builds, email builds and additional custom landing page builds for the digital and marketing channels. This position will work closely with our Ecommerce, Marketing, and Product resources to produce exceptional user experiences and visually appealing web and graphic builds, responsive functionality, and following best practices to ensure maximum speed and scalability.

• Produce homepage builds for ecommerce websites, digital marketing emails and external marketing channels including but not limited to banner updates, promotional features, UI/UX within Corporate brand standards

• Collaborate with online merchants, copywriters, developers, and digital designers on concept creation to production to improve usability while optimizing applications for maximum speed

• Ability to produce interactive content using advanced coding techniques and technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, etc. within our existing CMS platform while ensuring the website renders well across multiple devices

• Maintaining and improving website and follow all procedures for web site maintenance and design production

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Meet tight deadlines as required

• Collaborate with the Back End Web Development Team to integrate necessary elements

• Perform other duties as assigned

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design or related field

• 3-5 years web development experience in an e-commerce/web-related environment from a retail organization or agency required

• Experience with Sales Force Commerce Cloud (previously known as Demandware) strongly preferred

• Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various content management systems

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with designers, developers, and other team members

• Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems

• Portfolio of past work and projects

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements
