Job Description

Marketing Coordinator The Marketing team’s purpose is to drive sales, traffic and awareness of the Claire’s and/or Icing brands through strong marketing campaigns across all channels.

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing Operations Managers and Director, merchant teams, digital/e-com teams, creative teams, Stores and field team and other cross functional partners, as needed.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate & manage with the support of in-house agency the point of sale process through to delivery
  • Work with in-house agency to manage the critical path process to ensure all collateral arrives in sufficient time to launch ensuring time is built in for creative development, detailed item details, translations and proofing approvals.
  • Partner with in-house agency to keep the POS Signage database updated
  • Work with vendors and merchants to create, quote, and collaborate to develop best in class marketing collateral and marketing elements for in-store
  • Coordinate print projects including partnership with the creative team on design, vendors on production, & with in-house agency and planning & allocation on store lists for distribution.
  • Partner globally with North American team on key projects
  • Manage and update the marketing documents and promotional calendar with all relevant holidays & events
  • Give strategic direction to ISP team on weekly roadmaps.
  • Partner with the ISP (In-store Presentation) & Ops teams to brief them sufficiently for store communications & graphic instructions regarding store set-up and compile the store communications where necessary
  • Support marketing campaigns by building roadmap cadences and working with cross-functional teams to develop messaging, promotions, legal, obtaining images, etc.
  • Oversee the management of the digital screen messages according to the marketing calendar
  • Work with the Analytics team to ensure the right promotions & timings are in place and they are kept aware of any changes to the calendar
  • Support development of key marketing campaigns including coordination of competitions and other partnership programs
  • Oversee the management of on-going partnership programs and campaigns
  • Partner with the digital and E-Commerce teams to ensure they are aware of all changes to the promotional calendar to ensure all sales, promotions & features are replicated online
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and projects from stores via marketing inbox, shopping centre marketing programs, POS signage requests and other programs and ensure that they are tracked
  • Manage updating of graphics in marketing dropbox for stores to use for mall marketing
  • Assist with development of presentations and in-store display/POS for key meetings
  • Represent and attend meetings on behalf of the marketing team when necessary
Experience
  • Experience of working in marketing previously
  • Experience of working in fashion retail in either marketing, PR or buying.
  • Experience with managing projects
Skills / Abilities:
  • InDesign knowledge
  • Good understanding of fashion and trends
  • Good knowledge of social media
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
