Senior IT Support Analyst – Store Systems
(Oracle POS; NCR POS, Aptos POS)
The Senior IT Support Analyst – Store Systems, under minimal supervision, is responsible for supporting legacy and new Retail Store Systems, POS, and Business systems (Oracle POS, NCR, Aptos, etc.) Act as Store Systems POS Subject Matter Expert.
Role and Responsibilities

  • Support the configuration, implementation, and rollout of Oracle POS solutions; Xstore, Xoffice,
  • Xcenter, ORCE, and EFTLink
  • Provides legacy POS Maintenance and Service Desk Support for legacy POS software and hardware (NCR/Aptos)
  • Serves as the Oracle Point of Sale Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • Implement and deploy Oracle solutions to achieve defined business goals
  • Maintain skills in Oracle POS applications process design and configuration; Oracle application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and Oracle application technical architecture
  • About You

  • 5+ years Information Technology experience required
  • 3+ years’ experience configuring and implementing Oracle Xstore, Xoffice, Xcenter, ORCE
  • 3+ years’ experience implementing Oracle EFTLink for payment terminal solutions (Verifone, Ingenico, etc.)
  • 3 + Years’ experience supporting Store and POS Systems ;(Aptos\Epicore, POSReady 2009, NCR, Oracle POS, etc
  • 3 + Years supporting Point of Sale Front End, Back office, and BOH solutions
  • 3 + Years supporting and implementing POS training solutions
  • 3 + Years conducting System, System Integration, and User Acceptance Testing
  • Understanding of P2PE, E2EE, and PCI compliance
  • Understanding of Store Systems, Point of Sale, and Business Systems
  • Demonstrated strong Microsoft Office skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong acumen for detailed oriented tasks
  • Strong desire to continue to grow and develop within the organisation
  • After hours on call support
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies
