Social Media Community Specialist Opportunity

About The Role

The Community Specialist is responsible for advocating a brand on social networks. They create their own social persona and actively go out within the online community to connect with potential customers and advocates accordingly.

• Assist with Content creation, writing blog posts and social media copy for social media channels

• Assist in creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, and other relevant and upcoming social media platforms.

• Responsible for customer support – answering questions however they come in (phone, e-mail, Twitter) and managing any online feedback .

• Experience using tools such as Word Press, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Hypr, Sprinklr and Hootsuite.

• Use Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.

• Partner with Global Social Media Manager and Global Brand and Communications Director on creating crisis marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the company’s public-facing communications on social media.

About You

• 2-3 years experience in a corporate setting.

• Fashion and retail experience is a plus.

• B.A in Marketing, Communications or a Related Field

• Support Global Social Media Manager in recaps and reporting

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excels at research, is able to identify threats and opportunities in social media content

• Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities based on organizational needs

• Highly organized and collaborative

• Be able to liaise across departments and work in different time zone,

• Understand how different global markets work

• Sense of urgency, motivated, proactive and curious mind

• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

• Interested in the fashion retail industry and desire to learn all aspects of the brand/business
