Store Communications Coordinator Opportunity About the role
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate communication between the field and the office, ensuring that the needs of the field are met in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate communication to various office departments, including incoming and outgoing calls, electronic forms, emails and all paperwork distribution to from field managers within assigned territory to various departments.
  • Provide telephone support for 1(800) Claire’s to insure that issues and inquiries from stores and customers are properly documented and submitted to the appropriate departments.
  • Follow up with departments to ensure responses to telephone calls are consistent and acceptable to the field.
  • Monitor appropriate use of outgoing voicemail messages from District Managers.
  • Assist with telephone and electronic communication from the field.
  • Follow up on weekly schedules for field personnel.
  • Maintain accurate filing system for field communication documents.
  • Provide operational support for special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
About you

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Qualifications:
    • 1-2 years retail store and customer service experience highly desired
    • Excellent telephone communication skills (this is a call center environment)
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Good organizational skills
    • Sense of urgency with ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Experience:
    • 1 - 2 years’ experience in retail, customer service, or office environment required
    • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Knowledge:
    • Microsoft Office experience or knowledge required
  • Skills / Abilities:
    • Flexibility and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
    • Self-motivated with initiative and attention to detail
    • Frequent periods of walking required
